About the Program
With the passage and implementation of Prop 64, the Adult Use of Marijuana Act, the Sacramento County Coalition for Youth received funding from Sacramento County Department of Health Services, Behavioral Health Services Division, Substance Use Prevention & Treatment Services to create and implement Future Forward, a youth marijuana prevention campaign.
Parent Guide
One of the best prevention strategies is for parents and trusted adults to have informed conversations with their youth about the negative effects of Marijuana. This guide is made by teenagers for parents.
Teen Guide
This is a pamphlet informing youth about the negative effects of using marijuana before their brains are fully developed. This guide is made for teenagers by their peers.
